Artitude: Climate, Culture & Circularity

Artitude: Climate, Culture & Circularity is an exciting community engagement project, rooted in the circular economy.

Artitude is a project by the Derry Playhouse, made possible by funding from the National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
It aims, by using the power of the arts and creative practice, to spark behaviour change and challenge our attitudes toward waste, consumption, and climate action.
For the past two years, The Playhouse has been collaborating with partners Zero Waste North West, Northern Ireland Resources Network, Queen’s University Belfast, and Derry City & Strabane District Council to deliver a vibrant programme of creative activities.

In its first year, the project brought to life two beautifully illustrated short stories from ZWNW members Gráinne O’Neill and Marcella Di Palo. We also created a wonderful animated short story that introduces the ZWNW family—truly a team effort, from scripting and narration to illustration.

We’re proud to share these with you, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we’ve loved bringing them to life.
