Parents for the Future: A Zero Waste Picnic Party. This would be at the Playtrail on Saturday 7th June after World Environmental Day and the first day of the Great Big Green Week.

Aimed at Parents and Caregivers to raise awareness about family-friendly projects by Zero Waste North West and encourage climate action in an engaging and accessible way. The event will showcase initiatives like the Toy Library, Nappy Library, Little Footprints and NW BAPS and provide hands-on activities to inspire families to get involved.
Set at the Eco Hub, families can enjoy a waste-free teddy bear’s picnic, participate in workshops such as beeswax wrap making and a Forest School session, and learn practical ways to reduce waste. The event’s focus is on creating a fun, relaxed environment where parents and caregivers can connect, learn, and take steps toward making eco-friendly choices in their everyday lives.

The project request is for £400.
